BELMOKHTAR MOKHTAR connected to Robert Fowler Disappearence?

The United Nations may be exploring the possiblity That the kidnaping of UN Diplomat Robert Flower and Luis Guay may have a BELMOKHTAR MOKHTAR connection.

I doubt it. Why would MBM kidnap them and not tell anyone? For AQIM their value would be as hostages.

Adrain, I am thinking there is a consulting role, providing intelligence, losistics, a demonstration to some small local group of what they could do for them is they joined up. The small group would be holding him.

However, the longer time passes with no one claiming credit,two possiblities sem more and more liekly:

The Mali Government, who wants no dialogue or peace

or

Random Crime

I am more inclinded to believe the former, since no body has been found.

It may be that Belmokhtar has a bounty out there for Western captives, and some low level independent rebels needed to raise funds, caught them, and sold them to Belmokhtar.

therefore, the delay

He has a collection of captives now, we should be hearing more from him.
