Khalid A. Alireza

Chief Executive Officer, Xenel GroupKhalid Alireza is the Chief Executive Officer of Xenel Group, a prominent holding company in Saudi Arabia with investments in petrochemicals, engineering, construction, services, and trading.

A respected leader in the Saudi business community, Mr. Alireza has led a number of companies inside the Kingdom. He is the Former Chairman and CEO of the Saudi Cable Company, Alujain Corporation, Hidada Limited, and Safra Company. He was Chairman of Nippon Electric Co. Saudi Arabia, Ltd. and Vice Chairman of AMI Saudi Arabia, Ltd.

Mr. Alireza is a Member of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he is Chairman of the Industrial Committee. He is a Member of the U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Council; the World Business Council of the World Economic Forum in Geneva, Switzerland; and the Prince of Wales Business Leader Forum. He formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization.

Involved in the area of higher education, Mr. Alireza is a Member of the Board of Trustees for the U.C. Berkeley Foundation. He is a Trustee for the Oxford Center for Islamic Studies at Oxford University, where he is Chairman of Finance.

In addition, he is a Trustee for the Al-Falah Advisory Committee at the University of California, Berkeley and is Vice President of the Board of Trustees at the Al-Falah School of Engineering and Technology in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Alireza has a B.S. and M.S. in Industrial Engineering
