- National University and received his cross-cultural education graduate degree (M.Ed) and California teaching credential.
- He worked as teacher’s aide and visiting teacher in racially diverse classrooms in different inner city schools.
Mr. Yussuf founded three non-profit organizations and served as the CEO of Masjid Al-Ansar Corporation for 5-years.
He was the first Board president and Lead Petitioner of Iftin Charter School as well as of San Diego Somali Student Association.
Mr. Yussuf enjoys reading, running, swimming and extending helping hand to others. He currently lives with his family in San Diego.
