AQIM tries To Win Berber Support
In a communiqué posted on jihadist websites on July 28, 2009, Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) tries to take advantage of popular anger in Kabylia over a recent case of state-sponsored arson in order to win support from the Kabyle Berber population.
